Sara G.

Sara brings substantial experience aligning organizational systems to drive mission success in high-impact organizations. In nearly a decade at the District of Columbia Public Schools, she led transformation initiatives in human capital, business operations, and ultimately led the school district’s financial strategy as Chief Business Officer. Throughout these roles, she maintained a focus on equity-driven practices and adaptability.

Now Sara consults with education and nonprofit organizations on strategic planning, aligning resources to mission, talent strategy, and building robust operational and financial systems. She is comfortable navigating challenging situations and problem-solving even under tight timelines, always keeping an eye on the end goal.

Sara holds an Executive Masters in Leadership from Georgetown University, an MBA from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Brandeis University. She lives in Washington DC, where she and her family can frequently be found biking from park to park, or happily visiting the zoo for the millionth time.
