Nisha Dass

Nisha joins the vChief team with more than ten years of experience managing complex organizational development projects in the nonprofit, government and private sector.

After serving as a middle school math teacher and instructional facilitator, Nisha worked at Teach for America as a coach and content specialist supporting teachers across New York City, and then as a talent recruiter managing all aspects of the recruitment life cycle for a portfolio of regions.

Nisha also spent time in city government at the Fund for Public Schools and in the advocacy space at Educators for Excellence, working as a chief of staff. She managed a wide range of projects including strategic planning, board operations, internal and external communications and new donor strategy.

Before moving into consulting, Nisha most recently transitioned from the private sector where she served as an organizational development specialist at Away, a rapidly growing direct-to-consumer startup. Nisha oversaw the company’s talent management strategy, specifically culture and employee engagement, learning and development and diversity and inclusion.

She earned a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating as valedictorian of her class. Originally from Southern California, Nisha enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, watching movies, placing small bets at the races and trying new restaurants.
