
Naomi W.
Chief of Staff
Naomi has 20 years of experience setting strategy, liaising with boards and elected officials, managing executive teams to outcomes, and planning and executing operations for large public sector entities.
Most recently, Naomi worked for The School District of Philadelphia as the Chief of Staff. In this role she was responsible for the strategic direction and management of the Superintendent’s senior leadership team; coordinated strategies and approaches with the Board of Education and elected officials; was responsible for the development, implementation and communication of the District’s Action Plan; and, oversaw strategic labor relations decisions and supported executive level hiring. Prior to being named Chief of Staff, Naomi also served as the District’s Chief Talent Officer.
Naomi also has a background in state government, having served in Governor Edward G. Rendell’s cabinet as Secretary of Administration and as the Governor’s Deputy Chief of Staff. Naomi has worked in the non-profit arena serving as the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Provider’s Deputy Executive Director and the Director of Legal and Governmental Affairs where she managed its contractual relationships, oversaw all administrative functions of the organization and developed new grant funding sources and programs. Naomi also spent six years as a litigation attorney at Ballard Spahr in Philadelphia and Latham and Watkins in San Francisco.
Naomi is a graduate of Yale College, where she earned a B.A. in English; and the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she earned her J.D. Between college and law school, Naomi spent two years teaching high school English as a member of Teach for America. She recently moved to Denver, Colorado from her long-time home in Philadelphia.
