Chief of Staff
A lifelong love of solving puzzles collided with a passion for making the world a better place, and Melanie found herself immersed in the world of politics and campaigns - traversing the country, working with amazing people from all walks of life, and tackling any and every challenge that was presented. That work allowed her to cultivate a variety of experiences and skills over her career working for businesses, non-profits, government, and in politics. She has worked in over a dozen states, both personally and remotely, to coach and manage others to achieve their objectives. She has prioritized resources and expanded goals, worked across lines of difference to engage communities and impact outcomes, and has supported start-ups as well as jumped in to push teams in the final phase toward victory. Steadfast, flexible, and resilient in the face of obstacles, Melanie now leverages the skills and experiences cultivated in the political realm and translates them to support a variety of industries and leaders.
As any enigmatologist (or Melanie) will tell you, solving problems is always rewarding, but the possibility of the next and greater challenge is irresistible, and is what draws her to the work of a vChief Chief of Staff.
On the personal side: A Coloradan for all but the first few years of life (so she can't claim to be a native), Melanie is an unimpressive skier, but a very talented whistler, and loves to swim, read, and travel often - even sometimes with her kids!
