Chief of Staff

Lavonzell is a leadership coach and consultant for small businesses and nonprofit community leaders. Through coaching, program design, and project management, she helps them create and execute strategies to effectively grow and manage their organization so they can make a big impact.

Her clients appreciate her 20+ years of experience managing businesses, nonprofits, people, and projects. In addition to serving on several local community boards, she’s received recognition as one of New Orleans’ “40 Under 40,” New Orleans Magazine’s People to Watch, and City Business Woman of the Year nominee. As an entrepreneur, she has also been featured in the book How They Did It: A profile in entrepreneurship.

Lavonzell is the founder of EIH Consulting as well as the Director of Finance and Operations for a local university. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a BA from Nicholls State University.

When she’s not working she loves spending time with her two boys and practicing radical self-care through yoga, baking, and gardening.
