Julia Quintanilla joined vChief as Executive Assistant to the Office of the CEO. She is proudly a first generation graduate and earned her BA at Colgate University and was a Fulbright grant recipient upon graduation. Julia received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education during her time as a Teach For America NYC corps member. Later, Julia was a founding Kindergarten teacher in Denver and eventually made her way to Las Vegas, NV where she now calls home. Julia began consulting in the education sector in 2020 and was inspired to transition careers from the classroom to the private sector.
Julia has experience in operations and logistics from supporting the Teacher Preparation Team for Teach For America's Phoenix Institute with staff recruitment, hiring and onboarding, conference planning, and managing temporary staff. In her spare time, she volunteers at a local food pantry and sits on the board of a local school. She is passionate about workplace sustainability, planning special events, sunshine, and spending time with her four-legged co-worker, Oreo.
