Jenn B.

Jenn is an experienced leader in mission-driven organizations, primarily nonprofits and early stage companies serving the social sector. She has a strong background in operations and systems design, project management, talent acquisition and management, and organizational design and culture. Jenn’s work has been largely centered in organizations focused on youth development, human services, leadership development, national services, management consulting, and capacity building.

Jenn has an independent consulting practice focused on operational alignment and excellence in the social sector. Previously, Jenn served as COO of the Institute for Nonprofit Practice, in affiliation with Tufts University; as Managing Director then CEO at New Sector Alliance; as Executive Director of The Bridge Center; and as Program Director of Aspire MGH. Across these roles, Jenn has led a wide range of internal- and external-facing initiatives during periods of growth, change, and transition, and Jenn is skilled and comfortable providing structure and support as organizations navigate the ambiguity that these moments in time often create.

Jenn earned an MBA from Babson College, an Ed.M. from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education (focus: Risk and Prevention), and a BA from Cornell University (majors: Psychology and Mathematics). She is a two-term AmeriCorps Alumna whose commitment to national service has continued through her organizational leadership and consulting work. Jenn lives in the Boston area with her husband, kids, and dog.
