Chief of Staff
Eryn brings over 10 years of experience leading in the education non-profit management sector passionately executing on her strengths in project management, operations, and relationship building with equity sitting at the cornerstone of everything she does. She specializes in assessing, improving, and implementing operational systems, supplying expertise and guidance on talent management strategy, improving cultural norms and employee performance.
Currently, Eryn leads Teach for America’s Military Veterans Initiative where her primary goals are to build a diverse coalition of partners and design professional development opportunities that will help military veteran corps members and alumni expand their unique leadership skills in order place them on a career mobility pathway to evoke change in communities nationwide as civilians.
Prior to leading the Military Veterans Initiative, Eryn worked on TFA’s Admissions team, was a 2010 Jacksonville corps member, and worked as a School Operations Manager at KIPP Jacksonville Schools. She has also enjoyed 3 summers working at TFA’s Atlanta and Chicago Institutes cumulatively supporting nearly 2,000 corps members and staff.
Eryn holds a Bachelor’s of Science in English Education from The Florida State University and a Master’s of Art in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University. She and her husband, an active duty Major in the U.S. Army, are currently stationed with their two children and two dogs in Kansas.
