Chief of Staff

Constance (Connie) has a passion for helping organizations and communities reach their full potential through intelligent strategic planning. Currently a consultant for vChief, her prior work includes identifying growth opportunities for a start-up in London, reforming the ethics laws for the City of Chicago and launching the NOOKcolor for Barnes & Noble. She also served as President at Ale Syndicate, a Chicago-based brewery owned and run by two brothers. While at Ale Syndicate, she was responsible for the company's strategic and financial direction, including capital raises and growth strategy.

Connie is also passionate about bettering communities. For two years she served as the volunteer co-director of Chicago chapter of New Leaders Council, a national non-profit that seeks to train the next generation of progressive leaders.

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Connie has also lived in Mexico, Nicaragua, New York, Chicago, Berlin and Ann Arbor. She has an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Economics and Government from the College of William and Mary. She loves to hike in the Rocky Mountains every chance she gets.
