After spending over 15 years in progressive, financial leadership roles, specifically in startup, growing, and transitioning organizations, Betsy understands what truly drives and motivates people. She is a finance, operations, and people strategist who partners with organizations to ensure financial sustainability, operational excellence, a healthy and inclusive work environment, and agile organizational growth.
Betsy’s experience has ranged from public accounting, to corporate operations, to education, and now, financial management for mission-driven organizations. She’s managed budgets ranging from $1.1M to $3.2B and has managed teams ranging from 1 employee to over 30.
Betsy has worked for a wide range of impactful organizations, including being a founding leader at New World Preparatory Charter School, a charter school that provides a world-class education to ELL learners.
Other organizations include, but are not limited to, McGraw Hill, Princeton University, Princeton-Blairstown Center, Innovate Public Schools, and The Center for Policing Equity. Her work in nonprofit leadership earned her the 2020 Harold L. Conover Leadership Award from her alma mater, Rider University, for exhibiting exemplary leadership qualities in a non-profit organization, community agency, professional organization, or government service. Betsy holds an MBA in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting from Rider University. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling with her husband, good wine, reading, and taming her unruly garden.
